Halliday Finch Appoints Paul Williamson as Director of Investigations
Halliday Finch, a leading provider of risk management and security consulting services, is proud to announce the appointment of Paul Williamson as its new Director of Investigations, effective 1st July 2025.
With more than 30 years of experience in law enforcement and corporate security, Mr Williamson brings a wealth of investigative expertise to Halliday Finch’s global operations. His appointment strengthens the company’s position as a trusted partner for high-level investigations and secure operations in complex environments.
International Experience in Brand Protection and Anti-Counterfeit Operations
Prior to joining Halliday Finch, Mr Williamson served as the Regional Investigations Manager (EMEA and AMS) for HP Inc.’s Global Brand Security Anti-Counterfeit (ACF) Programme. In this role, he led international investigative teams, managed vendor partnerships, and oversaw both strategic and tactical operations targeting counterfeit networks and intellectual property threats.
Since 2017, Paul played a key role in advancing investigative standards across EMEA and the Americas, supporting HP’s global mission to protect brand integrity and disrupt organised counterfeiting.
A Distinguished Background in Law Enforcement
Mr Williamson’s career also includes over 30 years of service with UK law enforcement, retiring as a Detective Chief Inspector. His policing background includes leadership in serious and organised crime investigations, covert operations, anti-corruption units, and major incident command.
Strengthening Halliday Finch’s Investigative Capabilities
In his new role, Mr Williamson will lead commercial investigations and oversee the management of secure movement and close protection teams. His appointment reflects Halliday Finch’s commitment to delivering investigative services with integrity, professionalism, and a results-driven approach.
